Privacy

What we store. Your email, a hashed password, the name you give us, and anything you add — sessions, teacher and musician listings, booking contacts, reports and confirmations.

Contact form. Messages you send are stored so we can reply, and emailed to us. We keep a one-way hash of your IP address only to stop spam.

Events you share. Event details are published immediately. Your submitter name and email are kept privately and included in an admin notification; they aren’t displayed on the event listing. We use the same temporary spam-check records and rate limits as the signup form. Removed events and their submission details are kept so the admin can review or restore them.

Spam protection. Signup, event and course waitlist forms use a self-hosted ALTCHA check. We temporarily store your submitted email, a one-way keyed hash of your IP address and verification records to limit abuse. These records expire after one day and are cleared when the next submission arrives.

What's public. Sessions, your display name next to sessions you add, and active teacher and musician listings, including the music and website links you choose to share. Teacher and musician booking email addresses and phone numbers are shown only to signed-in members. You can pause or remove your musician listing from your account.

Analytics. Google Analytics starts automatically to count visits and see which pages are useful. Advertising features are off. Choose No thanks in the cookie banner to stop analytics and remove its cookies. We remember your choice, including any earlier decline. To change your choice, clear this site's data in your browser and reload.

What we don't do. We don't sell data or run advertising trackers. Your account email is kept private unless you choose to use it as a listing’s contact email.

Services we use. Supabase (database and accounts), Vercel (hosting), Resend (account emails), Google Analytics (visit statistics, unless you opt out), OpenStreetMap and Nominatim (addresses to map pins, and the map itself).

Leaving. Delete your account any time from your account page. Your teacher and musician listings, booking contacts and profile go with it. Sessions you added stay up for the community, without your name.
